Friend of the brand Lee Popp (Wife of Adam Popp from Popp Planes) is one inspirational lady. We took a trip to her house in East Side Costa Mesa to check out what she's been up to.
A Hawaiian native, Lee has been surfing amazing waves since she was just a little girl. Lee explains "I grew up on the island of Kauai. I'm from Anahola, a small town, fairly isolated, but with a close community. I can assure you that no person has truely lived, unless they have experienced the heart of Anahola." After spending just a few minutes with Lee it is easy to see that the peaceable carefree ways of her youth are engrained in her rad energy.
Lee has started collecting and repurposing fabrics and trinkets and making them into bags and accessories. "My business started organically, making bags for family and friends. Since my bags are made from vintage and upcycled fabrics, my goal is to sell them along side other vintage goods."
We took a walk through her bungalo and snapped a few photos of some of the things she has collected.
Lee Found this piece of driftwood on the beach and her husband painted it for her.
Lee is a stylish surfer and a frequenter of the beaches all along the coast of Southern California. We took a walk down to a local spot and grabbed a couple waves before parting ways.
