We are welcoming the Plant Tribe to the big summer spring kick off party May 2nd at the Kraken in Cardiff California. "Plant Tribe was founded in the summer of 2011 in the Threat Lodge upstairs cabin located in a back alley of Long Beach, CA. Following various experiences of divine momentary transcendence, the seeds were sown from the ashes of their former musical endeavors to pursue a new type of groove-based lysergic music. Informed as much by the exotic chugging rock & roll power of Robin Trower, Hawkwind, and Flower Travellin' Band, as the big city funk of Curtis Mayfield, Herbie Hancock, and Mandrill, the Tribe's musical mission began to take shape.
