We met local Ryan Griffin down at the docks last week and he was kind enough to take us on a little journey to check out the White Sea Bass Project. Operated by the Pacific Fisheries Enhancement Foundation, these men aim to grow the white sea bass population back to what it once was. Thousands of tiny white seabass will be cared for from the time they are 3 inch fingerlings until they are large enough to fend for themselves in the deep blue sea. Working on a volunteer basis these men have a passion for the sea and the sport of fishing.
